Dstv new rates

DSTV has recently introduced new rates for its subscribers. Here are the new rates:

DSTV Premium

• Old rate: R1,299 per month
• New rate: R1,399 per month (an increase of R100)

DSTV Compact Plus

• Old rate: R799 per month
• New rate: R849 per month (an increase of R50)

DSTV Compact

• Old rate: R599 per month
• New rate: R649 per month (an increase of R50)

DSTV Family

• Old rate: R499 per month
• New rate: R549 per month (an increase of R50)

DSTV Access

• Old rate: R399 per month
• New rate: R449 per month (an increase of R50)

DSTV EasyView

• Old rate: R199 per month
• New rate: R249 per month (an increase of R50)

Additional changes

• The new rates will apply to all new subscribers from March 1, 2023.
• Existing subscribers will be migrated to the new rates over the next few months.
• The new rates do not include the cost of additional channels or services, such as HD or PVR.

It's worth noting that DSTV has also introduced a new "Select" package, which offers a range of channels at a lower price point than the Premium package. The Select package will cost R899 per month.

It's always a good idea to review your subscription and consider whether you need all the channels and services you're currently paying for. You may be able to save money by downgrading to a lower package or canceling channels you don't watch.
