Dss denies arresting pdp spokeman buba galadima

It seems like there's been a development in a news story!

According to reports, the Department of State Services (DSS) has denied arresting Buba Galadima, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Galadima was reportedly arrested by the DSS on Tuesday, but the agency has now come out to say that he was not arrested. In a statement, the DSS claimed that Galadima was only invited for questioning and was later released.

The DSS statement read: "The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to a misleading report circulating in the media that it arrested the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Buba Galadima. For the avoidance of doubt, the DSS wishes to clarify that it did not arrest Mr. Galadima. He was invited for questioning and was later released."

It's not clear what the DSS wanted to question Galadima about, but it's likely that the agency was investigating some sort of issue related to his political activities.
