Display default wordpress content to a new character
By default, WordPress comes with a few pieces of content that are displayed on a new installation. Here's what you can expect to see:
Home Page:
- A welcome message: "Just another WordPress site"
- A link to the WordPress Codex: "Documentation on how to use WordPress"
- A link to the WordPress Support Forums: "Support Forums"
About Page:
- A brief introduction to WordPress: "WordPress is a state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability."
- A link to the WordPress Codex: "Documentation on how to use WordPress"
- A link to the WordPress Support Forums: "Support Forums"
Posts Page:
- A list of sample posts, including:
- "Hello world!" - a default post created by WordPress
- "Sample Post" - a sample post with a brief introduction and a link to the WordPress Codex
Pages:
- A sample page with a brief introduction and a link to the WordPress Codex
Categories and Tags:
- A list of sample categories and tags, including:
- Categories: "Uncategorized", "Sample Category"
- Tags: "sample", "tag"
Comments:
- A sample comment with a brief introduction and a link to the WordPress Codex
Widgets:
- A sample widget area with a few default widgets, including:

Keep in mind that these are just the default pieces of content that come with a new WordPress installation. You can customize and remove them as you see fit to create your own unique website.
