Define page size in new version of one note
In the new version of OneNote (OneNote 2016 and later), the concept of "page size" has been replaced with "Section Page Size" and "Notebook Page Size".
Here's what you need to know:
Section Page Size: This refers to the size of the pages within a specific section of a notebook. You can set the page size for each section independently. For example, you might want to use a larger page size for a section dedicated to diagrams or illustrations, and a smaller page size for a section with text-heavy notes.
Notebook Page Size: This refers to the default page size for all new pages created within a notebook. You can set the notebook page size once, and it will apply to all new pages created in that notebook.
When you create a new page in OneNote, you can choose from a range of pre-defined page sizes, including:
- Letter (8.5 x 11 inches)
- A4 (210 x 297 mm)
- A3 (297 x 420 mm)
- Half Letter (5.5 x 8.5 inches)
- Half A4 (105 x 210 mm)
- Custom size (allowing you to specify a custom width and height)
You can also adjust the page size of an existing page by going to the "Layout" tab in the ribbon and clicking on "Page Setup". From there, you can select a new page size or enter custom dimensions.
It's worth noting that while you can change the page size, the content on the page will not be resized or reformatted. If you want to resize or reformat content, you'll need to do so manually using the OneNote editing tools.
