Declares guinea ebola free

I think there may be some confusion here.

Guinea has not been declared Ebola-free. In fact, Guinea is one of the countries in West Africa that was severely affected by the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak, which was the largest and most complex outbreak of the virus in history.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Guinea is still considered a high-risk country for Ebola transmission, and the country has reported cases of Ebola in recent years.

In 2020, Guinea reported a new outbreak of Ebola, which was declared a public health emergency of international concern by the WHO. The outbreak was caused by the Sudan strain of Ebola, which is a different strain from the Zaire strain that caused the 2014-2016 outbreak.

As of my knowledge cutoff, Guinea is still working to contain the outbreak and has implemented various measures to prevent the spread of the virus, including contact tracing, vaccination, and isolation of suspected cases.

So, to clarify, Guinea has not been declared Ebola-free.
