Current ndu admission new 2019

You're looking for the current admission requirements for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Here are the requirements:

Eligibility:

  1. Age: Not more than 22 years old by January 1st of the year of admission.
  2. Nationality: Nigerian citizen.
  3. Education: Must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics, English Language, and 3 other subjects (including Physics and Chemistry) in the SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level.
  4. Height: Not less than 1.68 meters (5 feet 6 inches) for male and 1.58 meters (5 feet 2 inches) for female.
  5. Chest Measurement: Not less than 0.89 meters (35 inches) for male.

Admission Requirements:

  1. Mathematics and English Language are compulsory subjects.
  2. For Science-based courses, the following subjects are compulsory: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  3. For Art-based courses, the following subjects are compulsory: English Language, Literature, and any other two subjects.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Candidates must have a minimum of 180 points in the UTME.
  2. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics, English Language, and 3 other subjects (including Physics and Chemistry) in the SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level.
  3. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics, English Language, and 3 other subjects (including Physics and Chemistry) in the SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level.

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the NDA website (www.nda.edu.ng) and fill the online application form.
  2. Pay the application fee of N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira) using the Remita platform.
  3. Upload your scanned O'Level results, UTME result, and other required documents.
  4. Submit your application and print a copy of the acknowledgement slip.

Closing Date:

The application portal will be open from January 1st to January 15th, 2020.

Important Notes:

  1. Candidates who are already in the NDA should not apply.
  2. Candidates who have previously been admitted to the NDA but did not complete their studies should not apply.
  3. Candidates who are awaiting results should not apply.
