Cross over to new year sermons

Here are some sermon ideas for the crossover period between Christmas and New Year's:

December 26: "The Gift of Hope"

December 28: "The Gift of Joy"

• Theme: Jesus is the source of joy and celebration, bringing happiness to those who receive Him.
• Message: As we reflect on the joy of Christmas, we are reminded that Jesus is the one who brings true joy to our lives. We can celebrate the coming year with hope and joy, knowing that Jesus is with us every step of the way.

December 29: "The Gift of Love"

• Text: John 3:16, 1 John 4:7-12
• Theme: Jesus is the embodiment of God's love, showing us what it means to love unconditionally.
• Message: As we enter the new year, we may be thinking about our relationships and how we can show love to those around us. Jesus is the ultimate example of love, and we can learn from His example as we seek to love others with the same love that He has shown us.

December 30: "The Gift of Forgiveness"

• Text: Luke 2:25-38, Matthew 6:14-15
• Theme: Jesus is the one who brings forgiveness and redemption to our lives, freeing us from the burden of guilt and shame.
• Message: As we reflect on the gift of Jesus, we are reminded that He is the one who forgives us and sets us free. We can enter the new year with a sense of freedom and new beginnings, knowing that Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer.

December 31: "The Gift of New Beginnings"

• Text: Isaiah 43:18-19, Revelation 21:5
• Theme: Jesus is the one who brings new beginnings and fresh starts to our lives, giving us a chance to start anew.
• Message: As we enter the new year, we may be thinking about our goals and resolutions. But Jesus is the one who brings true new beginnings, giving us a chance to start anew and leave our past mistakes behind. We can trust in His power to transform our lives and bring us into a brighter future.

January 1: "The Gift of New Life"

• Text: John 1:12-13, 2 Corinthians 5:17
• Theme: Jesus is the one who brings new life and spiritual rebirth to our lives, giving us a fresh start with God.
• Message: As we enter the new year, we may be thinking about our spiritual lives and how we can grow closer to God. Jesus is the one who brings new life and spiritual rebirth to our lives, giving us a fresh start with God. We can trust in His power to transform our lives and bring us into a deeper relationship with Him.
