Create new user windows 10
To create a new user account on Windows 10, follow these steps:
Method 1: Create a new user account using the Settings app
- Click on the Start button () and select the Settings icon (gear icon).
- Click on "Accounts" from the Settings window.
- Click on "Family & other users" from the left menu.
- Click on "Add someone else to this PC" at the bottom of the window.
- Click on "I don't have this person's sign-in information" and then click on "Add a new user".
- Enter the new user's name, email address, and password. You can also add a password hint if you want.
- Click on "Next" and then click on "Finish".
Method 2: Create a new user account using the User Accounts control panel
- Press the Windows key + X and select "Control Panel" from the menu.
- Click on "User Accounts" from the Control Panel window.
- Click on "Manage another account" and then click on "Create a new account".
- Enter the new user's name, email address, and password. You can also add a password hint if you want.
- Click on "Create account".
Method 3: Create a new user account using the Command Prompt
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "net user" and press Enter to open the User Accounts window.
- Type "net user
/add" and press Enter, replacing " " with the desired username. - Enter the new user's password and password hint (if desired) and press Enter.
Note: You can also create a new user account using the Microsoft Account (MSA) option, which allows you to create a new user account linked to your Microsoft account. To do this, follow the same steps as above, but select "Microsoft account" as the account type instead of "Local account".
After creating a new user account, you can switch between user accounts by clicking on the Start button and selecting "Account" from the menu, then clicking on "Switch account" and selecting the desired user account.
