Create new jamb account
To create a new JAMB account, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the JAMB Website
Open a web browser and navigate to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) website at www.jamb.gov.ng.
Step 2: Click on "Create New Account"
On the JAMB website, click on the "Create New Account" button located at the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Fill in the Required Information
Fill in the required information, including:
- Your name (as it appears on your identification documents)
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your password (and confirm it)
- Your date of birth
- Your gender
- Your state of origin
- Your local government area
Step 4: Upload Your Passport
Upload a clear and recent passport photograph (not more than 100KB).
Step 5: Fill in Your O'Level Results
Fill in your O'Level results, including:
- Your examination body (e.g. WAEC, NECO, etc.)
- Your examination year
- Your grades (e.g. A1, B2, C5, etc.)
Step 6: Review and Submit
Review your information carefully to ensure it is accurate. If everything is correct, click the "Submit" button to create your JAMB account.
Step 7: Verify Your Account
After submitting your account creation request, you will receive an email from JAMB to verify your account. Click on the verification link in the email to activate your account.
Step 8: Log in to Your JAMB Account
Once your account is verified, you can log in to your JAMB account using your email address and password.
Important Notes:
- Make sure to use a valid email address and phone number, as these will be used to communicate with you during the registration process.
- Ensure that your passport photograph is clear and recent, as this will be used to verify your identity.
- Keep your login credentials safe and secure, as you will need them to access your JAMB account.
