Method 1: Create a new group from the Chats screen
- Open WhatsApp on your Android device.
- Tap on the "Chats" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "New group" button (represented by a green plus sign) at the top right corner of the screen.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Add participants to the group by typing their names or phone numbers in the "Add participants" field. You can add up to 256 participants in a group.

Method 2: Create a new group from a conversation
- Open WhatsApp on your Android device.
- Open a conversation with the person you want to add to the new group.
