To create a new Outlook account, you'll need to follow these steps:
Method 1: Create an Outlook account using a Microsoft account
- Go to the Outlook sign-in page: www.outlook.com
- Click on "Create account" at the top right corner of the page.
- Enter your first and last name, and your email address (this will be your new Outlook address).
- Choose a password and confirm it.
- Enter your birthdate and gender.
- Click on "Next" to continue.
- You'll be asked to enter your phone number and verify it using a text message or phone call.
- Once verified, you'll be asked to set up your account security information, including a recovery email and phone number.
- Review the Microsoft Services Agreement and click on "Accept" to agree to the terms.
- Click on "Create account" to complete the sign-up process.
Method 2: Create an Outlook account using an existing email address
- Go to the Outlook sign-in page: www.outlook.com
- Click on "Create account" at the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Use an existing email address" and enter your email address.
- Enter your password and confirm it.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Choose a password and confirm it.
- Enter your birthdate and gender.
- Click on "Next" to continue.
