Create a new jamb account
To create a new JAMB account, you'll need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the JAMB Website
Open a web browser and navigate to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) website at www.jamb.gov.ng.
Step 2: Click on "Create New Account"
On the JAMB website, click on the "Create New Account" button located at the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Fill in the Registration Form
A registration form will appear. Fill in the required information, including:
- Your name (as it appears on your O'Level certificate)
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your password (and confirm it)
- Your O'Level result (if you have one)
- Your state of origin
- Your local government area
- Your date of birth
- Your gender
Step 4: Upload Your Passport
Upload a clear and recent passport photograph (not more than 100KB).
Step 5: Fill in Your Bio-Data
Fill in your bio-data, including:
- Your name
- Your date of birth
- Your state of origin
- Your local government area
- Your gender
- Your O'Level result (if you have one)
Step 6: Review and Submit
Review your information carefully to ensure it's accurate. If everything is correct, click the "Submit" button to create your JAMB account.
Step 7: Activate Your Account
After submitting your registration form, you'll receive an email with a link to activate your JAMB account. Click on the link to activate your account.
Step 8: Log in to Your JAMB Account
Once your account is activated, log in to your JAMB account using your email address and password.
That's it! You now have a new JAMB account. Remember to keep your login credentials safe and secure.
