Covenant university new registrar

As of my knowledge cutoff in 2022, the new Registrar of Covenant University is Professor Akanbi Abayomi. He was appointed to this position in 2021, succeeding Professor Dennis A. Alonge.

Professor Abayomi is a seasoned academic and administrator with a strong background in education and leadership. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language, a Master's degree in Education, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Ibadan.

Prior to his appointment as Registrar, Professor Abayomi served as the Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Covenant University, where he played a key role in the development and implementation of the university's postgraduate programs.

As Registrar, Professor Abayomi is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of the university, including student affairs, academic programs, research, and community engagement. He is also expected to provide strategic leadership and guidance to the university's academic and non-academic staff.
