Coronavirus kano declares emergency hotlines

Kano State in Nigeria has indeed declared a state of emergency and established emergency hotlines to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.

According to reports, the Kano State Government has set up a 24-hour emergency hotline to receive reports of suspected cases of COVID-19 and provide information to the public on preventive measures against the virus.

The emergency hotlines are:

The hotlines are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are staffed by trained healthcare professionals who can provide guidance and support to individuals who may have been exposed to the virus or are experiencing symptoms.

The Kano State Government has also set up isolation centers and treatment facilities to manage cases of COVID-19, and has deployed teams of healthcare workers to conduct contact tracing and testing.
