Col 8 13 new living bible translation

Here are the verses from Colossians 8-13 in the New Living Translation (NLT):

Colossians 8

8 So go ahead. Eat these things, drink these things. But don't forget to give thanks to God for them. 9 For God's kingdom is not just a matter of eating and drinking, but of living a virtuous life.

Colossians 9

9 So don't put your confidence in the flesh—whether in the works of human hands or in your own strength or in your own wisdom. 10 Remember, it is God who makes you stand firm and keeps you from falling. 11 For it is God who is working in you, both to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Colossians 10

10 So then, since we are living in Christ, we no longer have to live as the rest of the world does. 11 The old self has been put to death; the new self has been put in motion, 12 and that new self is being renewed to know God's will, to live a life that is good and pleasing to him.

Colossians 11

11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands, but by the removal of the fleshly body of the passions, which is put off. 12 In that circumcision, you were buried with him when, as in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

Colossians 12

12 And so, since Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law, let us keep the blessings of the Spirit. 13 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Colossians 13

13 For you have died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 14 When Christ, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.
