Job Summary:
The Department of Employment and Labour is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to fill the position of Client Service Officer. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, processing and managing client queries, and ensuring that all client interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, both in person and over the phone
- Process and manage client queries, including resolving complaints and issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions
- Identify and escalate complex client issues to senior staff members
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Provide information and guidance on employment and labour-related matters
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration)
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
