Claudio ranieri appointed as roma's new manager until june 30

A surprise move!

Claudio Ranieri, the Italian football manager, has been appointed as the new manager of AS Roma until June 30, 2023. This comes as a surprise, as Ranieri has been out of management since his departure from Watford in November 2021.

Ranieri, 69, has a wealth of experience in Italian football, having managed several clubs including Fiorentina, Inter Milan, and Juventus. He is perhaps best known for his time at Leicester City, where he led the team to a historic Premier League title in 2016.

Roma has been struggling this season, sitting in 7th place in the Serie A table with 34 points from 20 matches. The club has been searching for a new manager after sacking Paulo Fonseca in January.

Ranieri's appointment is seen as a temporary measure to stabilize the team and help them avoid relegation. He will have a limited time to turn things around, but his experience and knowledge of Italian football could be beneficial for Roma.

What do you think about this appointment? Do you think Ranieri can turn things around for Roma?
