Chrome news feed settings
Here are the settings for Chrome's news feed:
Enabling/Disabling News Feed
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
- Toggle the switch next to "News feed" to enable or disable the feature.
Customizing News Feed
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
- Click on "News feed settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Here, you can customize the following settings:
- Topics: Choose the topics you're interested in, such as sports, entertainment, or technology.
- Sources: Select the news sources you want to see in your feed, such as CNN, BBC, or The New York Times.
- Frequency: Choose how often you want to see news updates in your feed, such as every hour, every 2 hours, or every 4 hours.
- Language: Select the language you want to see news updates in.
Managing News Feed Notifications
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the "Notifications" section.
- Click on "Manage" next to "News feed notifications".
- Here, you can customize the following settings:
- Notification frequency: Choose how often you want to receive notifications, such as every hour, every 2 hours, or every 4 hours.
- Notification types: Select the types of notifications you want to receive, such as breaking news, trending stories, or top stories.
Removing News Feed
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
- Click on "News feed settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Remove" button at the bottom of the page to remove the news feed from your Chrome browser.
