Chrome news feed settings

Here are the settings for Chrome's news feed:

Enabling/Disabling News Feed

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  3. Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
  5. Toggle the switch next to "News feed" to enable or disable the feature.

Customizing News Feed

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  3. Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
  5. Click on "News feed settings" from the drop-down menu.
  6. Here, you can customize the following settings:
    • Topics: Choose the topics you're interested in, such as sports, entertainment, or technology.
    • Sources: Select the news sources you want to see in your feed, such as CNN, BBC, or The New York Times.
    • Frequency: Choose how often you want to see news updates in your feed, such as every hour, every 2 hours, or every 4 hours.
    • Language: Select the language you want to see news updates in.

Managing News Feed Notifications

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  3. Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Notifications" section.
  5. Click on "Manage" next to "News feed notifications".
  6. Here, you can customize the following settings:
    • Notification frequency: Choose how often you want to receive notifications, such as every hour, every 2 hours, or every 4 hours.
    • Notification types: Select the types of notifications you want to receive, such as breaking news, trending stories, or top stories.

Removing News Feed

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  3. Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Search and address bar" section.
  5. Click on "News feed settings" from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click on the "Remove" button at the bottom of the page to remove the news feed from your Chrome browser.
