Chrome keep my tabs and open new window
You want Chrome to keep your tabs open and open new windows instead of new tabs. Here's how you can do it:
Method 1: Using Chrome Flags
- Type
chrome://flags
in the address bar and press Enter. - Search for "Window" in the search bar.
- Find the "Window open new windows in a new window" flag and toggle it to "Enabled".
- Restart Chrome.
Method 2: Using Chrome Settings
- Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome window.
- Click on "Settings".
- Scroll down to the "On startup" section.
- Click on "Open a specific page or set of pages".
- Click on "Add a new page".
- Enter
chrome://new-window
in the address bar and click "Add". - Click "OK" to save the changes.
Now, when you click on a link or open a new tab, Chrome will open a new window instead of a new tab. Your original tabs will remain open.
Note: If you want to open a new window with a specific set of tabs, you can use the chrome://new-window
URL followed by the URLs of the tabs you want to open. For example, chrome://new-window/http://www.example.com/http://www.example2.com
.
