Chibok schoolgirl salomi pagu rescued

I'm happy to inform you that Salomi Pagu, a Chibok schoolgirl, was indeed rescued!

Salomi Pagu was one of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria on April 14, 2014. After being held captive for over three years, Salomi was rescued on May 18, 2017, along with 82 other Chibok schoolgirls.

The rescue operation was carried out by the Nigerian military, with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other humanitarian organizations. The rescued girls were taken to a military base in Maiduguri, where they received medical attention and counseling.

Salomi's rescue was a significant milestone in the efforts to free the Chibok schoolgirls, and it brought hope to the families of the remaining missing girls. Unfortunately, 112 of the original 276 girls are still missing, and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Salomi's story is a testament to the resilience and courage of the Chibok schoolgirls, who have faced unimaginable trauma and hardship during their captivity. Her rescue is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for freedom and a chance to rebuild one's life.
