5. Davide Zappacosta (from Roma) - August 2017
6. Danny Drinkwater (from Leicester City) - August 2017
7. Olivier Giroud (from Arsenal) - January 2018
8. Emerson Palmieri (from Roma) - January 2018

These signings were made by Chelsea's manager at the time, Antonio Conte.
