CBN New Bank Charges (Effective from January 1, 2020)
1. Cash Withdrawal Charges
- Withdrawal of N1,000,000 and above: 2% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N50,000)
- Withdrawal of N500,000 to N999,999: 1.5% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N7,500)
- Withdrawal of N200,000 to N499,999: 1% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N2,000)
- Withdrawal of N100,000 to N199,999: 0.5% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N500)
- Withdrawal of N50,000 to N99,999: 0.25% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N125)
- Withdrawal of N20,000 to N49,999: 0.1% of the withdrawn amount (minimum N20)
2. Card Transaction Charges
- Debit Card: 0.5% of the transaction value (minimum N50)
- Credit Card: 1.5% of the transaction value (minimum N100)
- Prepaid Card: 0.5% of the transaction value (minimum N50)
3. Electronic Transfer Charges
- Intra-Bank Transfer: N10 per transaction
- Inter-Bank Transfer: N50 per transaction
4. Cheque Clearance Charges
- Cheque Bouncing: N50 per cheque
- Cheque Return: N20 per cheque
5. ATM Maintenance Charges
- ATM Card Maintenance: N50 per annum
- ATM Card Replacement: N500 per card
6. Other Charges
- Account Maintenance: N50 per annum
- Account Closure: N500
- Account Dormancy: N50 per annum
- Card Replacement (Lost/Stolen): N500 per card
- Card Upgrade: N500 per card
