Capital city of new york

I think there may be a bit of confusion here!

New York is a state in the United States, and it has its own capital city. The capital city of New York is Albany, not New York City (which is the most populous city in the state and is often mistakenly referred to as the capital).

Albany has been the capital of New York since 1797 and is located at the north end of the Hudson River. It's home to many important government buildings, including the New York State Capitol building and the Empire State Plaza.

New York City, on the other hand, is a major city located in the southeastern part of the state, on the Atlantic coast. It's a global hub for finance, media, art, and culture, and is often referred to as the "City That Never Sleeps."
