Canada new express entry mark

The Express Entry system in Canada is a points-based system that manages applications for permanent residence through three federal economic immigration programs:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Express Entry system uses a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates based on their profile information and skills. The CRS awards points for factors such as:

  1. Language proficiency (English and/or French)
  2. Education
  3. Work experience
  4. Age
  5. Language ability
  6. Education credential recognition
  7. Adaptability

The maximum score in the CRS is 1,200 points. Candidates are ranked based on their score, and the top-ranked candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence through regular draws.

Here are the current CRS points for the Express Entry system:

Language Proficiency (up to 28 points)

Education (up to 25 points)

Work Experience (up to 15 points)

Age (up to 12 points)

Language Ability (up to 4 points)

Education Credential Recognition (up to 3 points)

Adaptability (up to 10 points)

The total CRS score is calculated by adding the points for each factor. The highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence through regular draws.

Note that the CRS points are subject to change, and candidates should check the official Government of Canada website for the most up-to-date information.
