Can see contacts status on new whatsapp

As of WhatsApp version 2.22.16.10 (released in December 2021), WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows you to see the contact status of your friends and family on the app. This feature is called "Contact Info" or "Contact Status".
Here's how to access it:
- Open WhatsApp and go to the "Chats" tab.
- Tap on the contact you want to see the status for.
- Tap on the three dots (⋯) next to their name or profile picture.
- Tap on "Contact Info" or "Contact Status".
On this screen, you'll see the contact's:
- Phone number (if they've shared it with you)
- Email address (if they've shared it with you)
- Last seen status (when they were last active on WhatsApp)
- Profile picture
- Status message (if they've set one)
Note that this feature is only available if the contact has shared their contact information with you, and if you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your device.
Also, keep in mind that this feature is optional, and contacts can choose to hide their contact information from you if they prefer.
