BUK VC APPOINTS NEW DEPUTY VC: The Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Muhammad Yahuza Bello, has appointed Professor Fatima Binta Umar as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration). Professor Umar, a renowned expert in her field, brings a wealth of experience to the position.
2. BUK STUDENTS WIN NATIONAL COMPETITION: A team of students from the Department of Computer Science, BUK, has emerged winners of the National Robotics Competition held in Abuja. The team, comprising five students, designed and built a robotic system that impressed the judges and took home the top prize.

BUK HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AGRICULTURE: The Department of Agricultural Economics, BUK, is set to host an international conference on agriculture, featuring renowned experts from around the world.
