Buhari sends 16 man nddc board nominees to senate

According to reports, President Muhammadu Buhari has sent 16 nominees to the Senate for confirmation as members of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Board, including the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) and the Nigerian Petroleum Trust Fund (NPFT).
The nominees were sent to the Senate on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, and are expected to be screened and confirmed by the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Upstream) before being appointed to their respective positions.

- Umar Ajiya - Chief Operating Officer, Upstream

- Nuhu Habib - Chief Operating Officer, Ventures
- Abiodun Adeniji - Chief Operating Officer, Gas and Power
