Buhari departs london treat ear infection

According to reports, President Muhammadu Buhari has departed London, where he had been receiving medical treatment for an ear infection.

The President had traveled to London on May 8, 2022, for a routine medical check-up, but his stay was extended due to the development of an ear infection.

According to a statement by the Presidency, the President has now returned to Nigeria and is expected to resume his duties as the country's leader.

The President's departure from London was confirmed by the Nigerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Sarafa Isola, who tweeted: "I am pleased to announce that President @MBuhari has departed London and is now on his way back to Nigeria. He will resume his duties as President upon his return."

The President's ear infection was reportedly caused by a buildup of wax in his ear, which was treated by medical professionals in London.

It's worth noting that the President's medical trip to London had sparked concerns about his health and the ability of his administration to effectively govern the country. However, the Presidency had assured Nigerians that the President was receiving the best medical care and would return to the country as soon as he was fit to resume his duties.
