Buhari appoints new nafdac acting dg

According to recent news, President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mojisola Adeyeye as the Acting Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Mojisola Adeyeye, a Professor of Pharmaceutical Microbiology, takes over from the former DG, Mojisola N. Adeyeye, who has been acting in the position since 2018.

As the Acting DG, Professor Adeyeye is expected to lead NAFDAC in its efforts to ensure the safety and quality of food, drugs, and other regulated products in Nigeria.
