Breaking kano court voids ganduje's appointment of new emirs
I think there may be some confusion here.
To clarify, the Kano State High Court did not "break" any court, nor did it void the appointment of new emirs by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
On June 5, 2020, the Kano State High Court ruled that the appointment of new emirs by Governor Ganduje was unlawful and unconstitutional. The court ordered the governor to reverse the appointments and restore the status quo ante.
The court's decision was based on a suit filed by a group of individuals who challenged the appointments, arguing that they were made without following due process and in violation of the Kano State Emirs (Appointment and Deposition) Law, 2019.
The court's ruling effectively nullified the appointments of the new emirs, including the appointment of Aminu Ado Bayero as the new Emir of Kano, which was made by Governor Ganduje in March 2020.
It's worth noting that the ruling has been appealed by the Kano State Government, and the matter is currently pending before the Court of Appeal.
