Breaker breaker 19 clear the line
A classic phrase!
"Breaker, breaker, 19, clear the line" is a famous phrase made famous by CB (Citizens' Band) radio operators in the 1970s and 1980s. It was often used to grab the attention of other CB operators on the same frequency, essentially saying "Hey, I've got something important to say, can you please give me the floor?"
The phrase was popularized by the 1977 film "Smokey and the Bandit," in which the character Cledus Snow (played by Jerry Reed) uses the phrase to hail other CB operators on the road. The phrase has since become a cultural reference point, often used humorously or ironically to grab attention or add a touch of retro flair to a conversation.
