Annual Renewal Fees:
- Foreign companies are required to pay an annual renewal fee of N200,000 (approximately $520) for a standard renewal.
- For expedited renewal, foreign companies are required to pay an additional fee of N100,000 (approximately $260).
Product Registration Fees:
- Foreign companies are required to pay a product registration fee of N500,000 (approximately $1,300) per product.
- For expedited product registration, foreign companies are required to pay an additional fee of N250,000 (approximately $650) per product.
Labeling and Packaging Fees:
- Foreign companies are required to pay a labeling and packaging fee of N100,000 (approximately $260) per product.
Inspection Fees:
- Foreign companies are required to pay an inspection fee of N50,000 (approximately $130) per inspection.
Other Fees:
- Foreign companies are required to pay a miscellaneous fee of N20,000 (approximately $52) for services such as document verification and certification.
Total Fees:
- The total fees for foreign companies to register and operate in Nigeria can range from N1.2 million (approximately $3,120) to N2.5 million (approximately $6,500) per year, depending on the type of registration and services required.
Payment Methods:
- Foreign companies can pay the fees in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD) through bank transfer or online payment platforms.
Effective Date:
- The new tariffs and fees are effective from January 1, 2023.
