Series 3 of the BBC's adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse's Blandings series has been announced! Here are the latest updates:
Release Date: The new series is expected to premiere in the summer of 2022 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
New Episodes: Series 3 will consist of 6 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long.
Returning Cast: The main cast from Series 2 will return, including:
- Timothy Spall as Lord Emsworth
- Jennifer Saunders as Lady Constance Keeble
- Jack Farthing as Frederick "Bosher" Johns
- Mark Addy as Beach

New Characters: A few new characters will be introduced in Series 3, including:
- A new love interest for Lord Emsworth, played by actress Emma Fielding
- A rival pig breeder, played by actor Richard Lintern

- Lord Emsworth's ongoing struggles to protect his beloved pig, Empress of Blandings

Production: The series is being produced by Mammoth Screen, the same production company behind the successful adaptation of Poldark. The show is written by Guy Burt, who has worked on several British TV dramas, including Foyle's War and The Last Kingdom.
