Beginning of new testament

The New Testament of the Bible begins with the four Gospels, which are accounts of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The four Gospels are:

  1. Matthew (Matthew 1:1-28:20)
  2. Mark (Mark 1:1-16:20)
  3. Luke (Luke 1:1-24:53)
  4. John (John 1:1-21:25)

These Gospels provide an eyewitness account of Jesus' life and teachings, and are considered to be the primary sources of information about Jesus' ministry.

Following the Gospels, the New Testament continues with the Acts of the Apostles, which describes the early Christian church and the spread of Christianity after Jesus' resurrection. The Acts of the Apostles is written by Luke, the same author who wrote the Gospel of Luke.

The remainder of the New Testament consists of Epistles (letters) written by various early Christian leaders, including Paul, Peter, James, and John. These Epistles provide guidance and instruction to early Christian communities, and address various theological and practical issues.
