A blast from the past!
In 2014, Barcelona signed the following new players:
- Luis Suárez (from Liverpool) - July 11, 2014
- Pedro Rodríguez (from Chelsea) - July 13, 2014
- Claudio Bravo (from Real Madrid) - August 18, 2014
- Douglas Pereira (from São Paulo) - August 20, 2014
- Adama Traoré (from Monaco) - August 25, 2014
- Gerard Deulofeu (from Everton) - August 26, 2014 (on loan)
These signings were significant for Barcelona, as they brought in a mix of experienced players (Suárez, Pedro, and Bravo) and young talent (Douglas, Traoré, and Deulofeu). Suárez, in particular, was a major coup for the club, as he was one of the top strikers in the world at the time and went on to have a highly successful spell at Barcelona, winning numerous titles and individual awards.
