Barca new players 2016

In the 2016 summer transfer window, Barcelona signed the following new players:

  1. Samuel Umtiti (Defender) - Signed from Olympique Lyonnais for a fee of around €25 million.
  2. Lucas Digne (Defender) - Signed from AS Roma for a fee of around €12 million.
  3. André Gomes (Midfielder) - Signed from F.C. Porto for a fee of around €25 million.
  4. Paco Alcácer (Forward) - Signed from Valencia CF for a fee of around €30 million.
  5. Denis Suárez (Midfielder) - Signed from Villarreal CF for a fee of around €25 million.

These signings were made by Barcelona's then-coach Luis Enrique, who was looking to strengthen the team's defense and midfield ahead of the 2016-17 season.
