Here are some of the new AWS services launched in 2018:
January 2018
- AWS Lake Formation: A service that makes it easier to set up a secure data lake by automating the discovery, cataloging, and securing of data.
- AWS Cloud9: A cloud-based integrated development environment (IDE) that allows developers to write, run, and debug code in a cloud-based environment.
February 2018
- AWS Step Functions: A service that makes it easier to coordinate the components of distributed applications and microservices.
- AWS CloudWatch Synthetics: A feature that allows users to create and manage synthetic users to simulate user interactions with their applications.
March 2018
- AWS Lake Formation: General availability of the service, which allows users to set up a secure data lake with minimal administrative effort.
- AWS CloudFront Functions: A feature that allows users to run small code snippets at the edge of the network to optimize content delivery.
April 2018
- AWS SageMaker Autopilot: A feature that allows data scientists to automate the process of building, training, and deploying machine learning models.
