Aubameyang could head the same way as ramsey arsenal struggling to keep world class talent admits campbell

It seems like Ian Wright is not the only one expressing concerns about Arsenal's ability to retain their top players. Sol Campbell, a former Arsenal defender, has also weighed in on the issue, suggesting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could follow in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsey and leave the club.

Campbell, who played for Arsenal from 2001 to 2006, believes that the Gunners are struggling to keep hold of their world-class talent due to a lack of success on the pitch and a perceived lack of ambition from the club's hierarchy.

"Arsenal are struggling to keep their top players, and it's not just about the money," Campbell told the Daily Mail. "It's about the ambition of the club. If you're not winning trophies, players are going to want to leave. Aubameyang is a world-class player, and if he's not winning things, he'll want to go somewhere where he can win.

"I think Arsenal are struggling to keep their top players because they're not competing at the top level. They're not winning the league, they're not winning the Champions League, and that's what players want. They want to be part of something special, and Arsenal aren't offering that at the moment."

Campbell's comments come after Aubameyang's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, revealed that the striker is considering leaving Arsenal in the summer due to a lack of progress in his contract negotiations. Aubameyang has been linked with several top clubs, including Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to keep hold of their star player.

It's worth noting that Campbell's comments are not entirely surprising, given his own experiences at Arsenal during his playing days. The club has struggled to maintain its status as a top-four team in the Premier League, and there are concerns that the current squad lacks the depth and quality to challenge for major honors.
