Atbu new students registration

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) New Students Registration Procedure:

Step 1: Payment of Acceptance Fee

• Log in to your JAMB profile and accept the offer of admission.
• Generate a payment invoice for the acceptance fee.
• Pay the acceptance fee using the invoice.
• Upload the payment receipt to your JAMB profile.

Step 2: Registration on ATBU Portal

• Log in to the ATBU portal using your JAMB registration number and password.
• Fill in the registration form and upload the required documents.
• Pay the registration fee using the portal.

Step 3: Upload of Documents

• Upload the following documents:
  • Passport photograph
  • Birth certificate
  • O'level result (WAEC, NECO, etc.)
  • JAMB result
  • Admission letter
  • Acceptance fee receipt

Step 4: Biometric Data Capture

• Visit the ATBU Biometric Data Capture Centre with your registration slip and a valid means of identification.
• Capture your biometric data (fingerprints and facial recognition).

Step 5: Payment of School Fees

• Log in to the ATBU portal and pay the school fees using your debit card or bank transfer.
• Upload the payment receipt to the portal.

Step 6: Clearance

• Visit the ATBU Faculty/Department for clearance with your registration slip and other required documents.
• Obtain clearance from the Faculty/Department.

Step 7: Course Registration

• Log in to the ATBU portal and register for your courses.
• Upload the course registration form to the portal.

Step 8: Verification

• Visit the ATBU Registration Office with your registration slip and other required documents.
• Verify your registration and obtain a verification slip.

Important Notes:

• All new students are required to register online and upload their documents.
• Late registration attracts a penalty fee.
• Students who fail to register within the stipulated time may be denied access to the university.
