Arsenal says staff uninfected with coronavirus after olympiacos owner tested positive

According to reports, Arsenal has confirmed that all of its staff have tested negative for COVID-19 after Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis tested positive for the virus.

Marinakis, who is also the owner of Nottingham Forest, had attended the match between Arsenal and Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium on October 30. As a result, Arsenal took the precautionary measure of testing all of its staff, including players, coaches, and support staff, to ensure that no one had contracted the virus.

In a statement, Arsenal said: "We can confirm that all of our staff have tested negative for COVID-19. We took the decision to test our staff as a precautionary measure following the news that Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis had tested positive for the virus."

The club added: "We will continue to follow all relevant protocols and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with the club."

It's worth noting that the Premier League has also implemented strict protocols to minimize the risk of transmission, including social distancing, mask-wearing, and regular testing of players and staff.
