Arsenal officially confirms unai emery as new manager

I think there may be some confusion here!

Unai Emery was actually appointed as the manager of Arsenal in May 2018, not in the past. He was officially confirmed as the new manager of Arsenal on May 23, 2018, replacing Arsène Wenger.

Emery had previously managed Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla, and was known for his tactical acumen and ability to get the best out of his players. During his time at Arsenal, he led the team to the Europa League final in his first season, where they ultimately lost to Chelsea.

Emery was eventually sacked by Arsenal in November 2019, after a poor run of results, and was replaced by Mikel Arteta.
