Arsenal appoint edu as new technical director

I think there may be some confusion here!

Edu, the former Arsenal player and current sporting director of Flamengo, has not been appointed as the new technical director of Arsenal.

In fact, Arsenal announced in October 2020 that Edu Gaspar, a former Arsenal player and sporting director of Flamengo, would be returning to the club as its new technical director. He officially took up the role on October 21, 2020.

So, to clarify, Edu Gaspar is already the technical director of Arsenal, not Edu (without Gaspar).
