Arsenal announces unai emery as new coach after wenger's exit
I think there may be some confusion here!
Unai Emery was actually appointed as the new head coach of Arsenal in May 2018, not after Arsène Wenger's exit. Wenger had been the manager of Arsenal since 1996 and announced his departure from the club in April 2018. Emery was appointed as his successor on May 23, 2018.
Emery had previously managed Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, and Valencia, and was known for his tactical acumen and ability to improve teams. During his time at Arsenal, Emery led the team to the Europa League final in his first season, where they lost to Chelsea. He was eventually sacked by the club in November 2019 and replaced by Mikel Arteta.
