Army dismisses latest boko haram video

The Nigerian Army has dismissed the latest video released by Boko Haram, which showed the group's leader, Abubakar Shekau, and other fighters.

In a statement, the Army said that the video was a "propaganda" and that the group was trying to deceive the public.

The video, which was released on Monday, showed Shekau and other fighters, including some who were reportedly killed in a military operation in 2015. The group claimed that the fighters were still alive and that they had been freed from captivity.

However, the Army said that the video was fake and that the fighters shown in it were actually killed in the military operation.

"We have seen the video released by Boko Haram and we can confirm that it is a propaganda video," said a spokesperson for the Army. "The fighters shown in the video are actually dead and were killed in our operation in 2015."

The Army also said that the video was an attempt by Boko Haram to deceive the public and to make it seem like they were still a powerful and active group.

"Boko Haram is trying to deceive the public and to make it seem like they are still a powerful and active group," said the spokesperson. "But we can assure the public that we are doing everything we can to defeat the group and to bring peace to the region."

The Nigerian government has been battling Boko Haram for years, and the group has been responsible for numerous attacks and kidnappings. The group has also been known to release propaganda videos and to make false claims about its activities.

In recent months, the Nigerian military has made significant gains against Boko Haram, and the group has been pushed out of many of its strongholds in the northeast of the country. However, the group is still believed to be active in some areas and is still capable of carrying out attacks.
