Archdiocese of galvestonhouston new seminarians

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is pleased to introduce its new seminarians for the 2022-2023 academic year. These men have been accepted into the Archdiocese's seminary program and will begin their studies at St. Mary's Seminary in Houston, Texas.

Here are the new seminarians:

  1. Alexander Aguilar: Alexander is a native of Houston and is currently studying at the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Houston.
  2. Michael Baca: Michael is from San Antonio, Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Houston.
  3. Johnathan Brown: Johnathan is from Spring, Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Houston. He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Katy, Texas.
  4. Juan Carlos Carrillo: Juan Carlos is from Mexico City, Mexico, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galveston.
  5. Eduardo De La Cruz: Eduardo is from Mexico City, Mexico, and is a graduate of the University of Houston. He is a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Houston.
  6. Michael Dinh: Michael is from Houston and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston.
  7. Christopher Garcia: Christopher is from Sugar Land, Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land.
  8. Juan Hernandez: Juan is from Mexico City, Mexico, and is a graduate of the University of Houston. He is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galveston.
  9. Matthew Kowalski: Matthew is from Spring, Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Houston. He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Katy, Texas.
  10. Joseph Nguyen: Joseph is from Houston and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston.
  11. Oscar Rodriguez: Oscar is from Mexico City, Mexico, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Houston.
  12. Gabriel Sanchez: Gabriel is from Houston and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Houston.
  13. Michael Tran: Michael is from Houston and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston.
  14. Andrew Tran: Andrew is from Houston and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston.

These men will begin their studies at St. Mary's Seminary in August 2022 and will spend the next several years preparing for the priesthood. Please join us in praying for them as they embark on this important journey.
