The New Brunswick Nominee Program (NBPNP) is a popular immigration program that allows the province to nominate candidates for permanent residence in Canada. Here are the requirements for the various streams of the NBPNP:
Skilled Worker Stream:
- Age: 21-55 years old
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
- Work experience: At least 2 years of work experience in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B)
- Language: CLB 7 in English or French
- Adaptability: Score at least 6 points out of 12 in the adaptability factor
- Job offer: A valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer
- Settlement funds: Proof of sufficient funds to settle in New Brunswick
International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream:
- Age: 21-55 years old
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized New Brunswick university
- Work experience: At least 1 year of work experience in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B)
- Language: CLB 7 in English or French
- Entrepreneurial experience: At least 1 year of entrepreneurial experience in a business that you own or co-own
- Business plan: A comprehensive business plan for your proposed business in New Brunswick
- Settlement funds: Proof of sufficient funds to settle in New Brunswick
Entrepreneurial Stream:
- Age: 21-55 years old
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher

- Proof of language proficiency in English or French
- Proof of education and work experience
- Proof of settlement funds

- Proof of language proficiency in English or French (if applicable)
Application process:
- Submit an expression of interest (EOI) through the NBPNP online portal.
- If your EOI is selected, you will receive an invitation to apply.
- Submit a complete application package, including all required documents and information.
- Pay the application fee.
- Wait for the NBPNP to review your application and make a decision.
Processing times:
- Skilled Worker Stream: 6-12 months
- International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: 6-12 months
- Entrepreneurial Stream: 12-18 months
