The election, which held at the Imo State Golf Club, Owerri, saw Mr. Chukwuma Nwosu emerge as the new Chairman, while Mr. Chinedu Nwosu was elected as the Secretary. Other elected executives include Mr. Chukwuebuka Nwosu (Vice Chairman), Mr. Emeka Nwosu (Treasurer), and Mr. Chukwuma Nwosu (Public Relations Officer).

APGA Imo State Golf Championship

The APGA Imo State Golf Championship has been scheduled to hold from March 15 to 17, 2023, at the Imo State Golf Club, Owerri. The championship, which is expected to attract golfers from across the country, will feature a 54-hole stroke play competition. The winner will receive a cash prize of N500,000 and a trophy.

APGA Imo State Golfers Excel at National Championship

Golfers from Imo State have excelled at the recent APGA National Golf Championship held at the IBB Golf and Country Club, Abuja. Mr. Chukwuma Nwosu, the new Chairman of APGA Imo State Chapter, finished 5th overall in the championship, while Mr. Chinedu Nwosu finished 10th. The Imo State golfers also won the team event, beating teams from other states to emerge champions.

APGA Imo State Partners with Imo State Government

The APGA Imo State Chapter has partnered with the Imo State Government to promote golf development in the state. The partnership, which was signed at the Imo State Government House, Owerri, aims to develop golf infrastructure, provide training and coaching for golfers, and promote the game of golf in the state.
