Apc governors back court suspension of oshiomhole

According to reports, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors' Forum has backed the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the party.

The suspension was announced on Friday, March 20, 2020, by the APC National Working Committee (NWC) following a meeting of the party's National Executive Committee (NEC).

The governors, who are members of the APC Governors' Forum, met on Saturday, March 21, 2020, and endorsed the suspension of Oshiomhole, citing his alleged anti-party activities and refusal to respect the party's constitution.

The governors, who are led by the Chairman of the Forum, Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, said that Oshiomhole's actions had caused divisions and instability within the party, and that his suspension was necessary to restore peace and stability.

The governors also called for the appointment of a caretaker committee to manage the party's affairs until a new national chairman is elected.

The suspension of Oshiomhole has been met with mixed reactions from party members and stakeholders, with some supporting the decision while others have criticized it as a move to undermine the party's constitution.

It's worth noting that the suspension of Oshiomhole is not the first time he has faced controversy within the party. He has been involved in several high-profile disputes with other party leaders and governors, and has been accused of using his position to favor certain individuals and groups within the party.
