Anytime i play a new youtube video an ad plays
That can be frustrating!
There are a few possible reasons why ads might be playing every time you watch a new YouTube video:
- Ad settings: Check your YouTube account settings to see if ads are enabled for your account. You can do this by following these steps:
- Sign in to your YouTube account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Playback" section and look for the "Show ads" toggle switch. If it's enabled, toggle it off.
- Ad blockers: If you're using an ad blocker, it might be interfering with YouTube's ability to display ads. Try disabling your ad blocker or whitelisting YouTube in your ad blocker settings.
- Cookie settings: Cookies can help YouTube personalize ads for you, but if your browser is set to block cookies, ads might not display correctly. Check your browser settings to see if cookies are enabled.
- Video monetization: If the creator of the video has enabled monetization on their video, ads will play before or during the video. You can try checking the video's description or comments to see if the creator has mentioned anything about ads.
- YouTube Premium: If you're not a YouTube Premium subscriber, you might be seeing ads on YouTube. YouTube Premium is a paid subscription service that offers ad-free videos, among other perks.
- Browser or device issues: Sometimes, browser or device issues can cause ads to play unexpectedly. Try closing and reopening your browser, or restarting your device to see if that resolves the issue.
If none of these solutions work, you can try contacting YouTube support for further assistance.
