Ambode set present lagos 2018 budget
I think there may be a small mistake there!
Akinwunmi Ambode was the Governor of Lagos State from 2015 to 2019, but he did not set the 2018 budget for Lagos State. The 2018 budget for Lagos State was actually presented by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on December 6, 2017.
The 2018 budget, titled "Budget of Consolidation", had a total estimate of N852.317 billion, with a capital expenditure of N434.6 billion and recurrent expenditure of N417.7 billion.
Here's a breakdown of the budget:
- Capital Expenditure: N434.6 billion (50.9% of the total budget)
- Recurrent Expenditure: N417.7 billion (49.1% of the total budget)
- Debt Service: N143.4 billion (16.8% of the total budget)
- Overheads: N143.4 billion (16.8% of the total budget)
- Capital Expenditure on Infrastructure: N143.4 billion (16.8% of the total budget)
The budget was aimed at consolidating the gains of the previous years, with a focus on infrastructure development, transportation, education, healthcare, and other key sectors of the economy.
I hope this clears up any confusion!
